1. Appointments & Arrival
Appointment requests are not confirmed until approved by staff. Our grooming location is a private residence. The address is provided after confirmation. Dogs must arrive securely leashed or in a carrier. Owners must disclose any special handling needs before arrival.
2. Health, Behavior & Safety
Owners must disclose medical conditions, medications, allergies, aggression, anxiety, biting history, injuries, and grooming concerns. Notify us before bringing a dog with signs of illness, fleas, ticks, or possible contagious conditions. We accept dogs with special needs when they can be groomed safely. Immediate Grooming may modify, stop, or refuse services when necessary for the safety of pets or people. We use humane handling practices and do not administer sedation.
3. Matting & Grooming Risks
Severely matted coats may require shaving, additional charges, or referral to a veterinarian. Grooming may reveal existing skin conditions or cause temporary irritation despite reasonable care. Minor risks include nail bleeding, small nicks, stress, and product reactions. We prioritize your dog’s comfort and safety over a requested hairstyle. Additional services or charges require your approval.
4. Liability & Veterinary Emergencies
Owners acknowledge the inherent risks of grooming and agree to provide accurate information about their pets.
Immediate Grooming is not responsible for harm caused solely by pre-existing conditions or unavoidable grooming risks despite reasonable care.
If urgent veterinary care is needed, we will attempt to contact you. If you cannot be reached, you authorize reasonable emergency care and transportation.
Owners are responsible for veterinary costs unless Immediate Grooming is legally responsible for the injury.
Nothing in this agreement releases Immediate Grooming or its staff from liability for negligence, misconduct, or violations of applicable law.
5. Pricing & Payment
Prices depend on breed, size, coat condition, behavior, and requested services. Additional charges are discussed and approved before service.
Payment is due at pickup unless otherwise arranged. Applicable sales tax is added. Tips are appreciated but never required. Saving a payment method does not authorize automatic charges.
6. Recurring Appointment Discount
Clients maintaining an approved recurring grooming schedule receive 15% off their main grooming service.
A deposit of 25% of the discounted main grooming price is required for each appointment. Deposits are credited toward the appointment total.
Add-ons, travel, taxes, and tips are excluded from the discount and deposit calculation. Repeated missed appointments may affect future discount eligibility. Changes to eligibility will be explained before future bookings.
7. Deposits & Cancellations
24+ hours’ notice: Free cancellation or rescheduling; deposit refunded or transferred.
Less than 24 hours: $25 cancellation/rescheduling fee.
No-show: $50 fee.
Fees are per appointment, not per dog, and never both for the same visit. Deposits apply toward applicable fees; unused amounts are refunded. Deposits are refunded if Immediate Grooming cancels or declines the appointment. Emergencies and exceptional circumstances will be considered.
Fees will not exceed the confirmed service price and may be reduced or waived when appropriate.
8. Late Arrival & Pickup
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling.
A 30-minute pickup grace period applies after the agreed pickup time or notification that grooming is complete, whichever is later.
Late pickup costs $15 per additional completed 30 minutes.
Dogs must be collected by their owner or an authorized adult.
Immediate Grooming does not provide overnight boarding
9. Pet Parent Grooming Lessons & Home Visits
Pet parent lessons provide hands-on guidance, not a guarantee of grooming proficiency. Participants must follow safety instructions and use equipment appropriately. Home visits require a safe workspace and advance agreement on any travel charges. Lessons or services may stop if conditions become unsafe.
10. Photos & Client Information
Client and pet information is kept for grooming, safety, scheduling, and business records. Pet photos may be taken for private grooming records.
Separate permission is required before using photos for advertising or social media. Information may be shared when required for veterinary care, legal obligations, or public-health reporting.
11. General Policies
Clients must be at least 18 and own the dog or have permission from its owner. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and updating changes. Immediate Grooming may refuse service for unsafe or threatening behavior. Concerns about grooming or charges should be reported promptly. Texas law applies. Nothing in these terms waives rights protected by law.
12. Agreement & Acceptance
By checking the acceptance box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
Your electronic acceptance applies to current and future grooming appointments for dogs on your client profile under this same version. Updated terms require new acceptance.
